“Please look ___ the new word in the dictionary.”
脑子突然卡住:填up?at?into?还是after?
很多同学以为“take off”= take(拿)+ off(离开)→ 就是“拿走”。
- The plane will take off at 3 p.m. →
- She took off her coat →
- His new song took off online →
? Last week I ran into my former English teacher at the subway station.
? His point didn’t get across because he spoke too fast.
? Don’t put off doing homework until Sunday night — trust me, you’ll panic.
> ?? 我带过两届高三,发现学生错得最多的是put on / put off / put up with这组。建议用生活场景记:“put on your jacket(穿上)→ put off your exam(推迟考试)→ put up with noisy roommates(忍耐室友)”。
- 宾语是代词(it / them / him),必须放中间 → turn it on, not “turn on it”
- 宾语是名词,可前可后 → turn on the light 或 turn the light on
- ?
Please turn it on.(对)
- ? Please turn on it.(错!)
- ? She picked up the book.(对)
- ? She picked the book up.(也对)
- interested in, good at, afraid of(全部用in/at/of,没有例外)
- depend on, insist on, succeed in(on 和 in 别混!depend *on* help;succeed *in* passing)
- blame … for, accuse … of, apologize to … for(人+事,双宾语结构超爱考)
? They blamed the delay on bad weather, not the driver.
- 改成记一句自己能共鸣的话:“My mom looks after my little brother while I study” → 瞬间画面感,三天不忘
- 造句必须带‘我’或‘身边人’:比如学“keep up with”,别写“Students keep up with lessons”,改成“I try to keep up with my classmates’ notes — but sometimes I fall behind.”
